I started with Marcia as I was looking for a rental property. I progressed over time from rentals to house buying. During that time Marcia was very attentive and listened to what I had to say. She did not push me towards anything (which I liked) but offered suggestions in order to keep my mind open. I have known Marcia for over 15 year. She sold my house for me several years ago, and it sold in less than a month. From start to finish, everything was taken care of and I could go about running my business knowing Marcia had everything under control. Since then, she has helped friends of mine sell their homes and even helped me find a great rental home, which was way below market. The Best realtor ever! Marcia is very easy to work with. The both times she helped me find a home she didn’t make me jump through hoops to work with her. She quickly recognized my needs and found me a house not once but twice and both times in just a few days. She helped make the buying process VERY smooth and helped me every step of the way. My daughter and son-in-law have used 2 different realtors in the past year with Zero results and now wishes they had used Marcia and plans on using Marcia to buy their first home.

I have known Marcia for about a year now. She has been a great help. Although I have not purchased a home yet (not her fault but mine), I have come pretty close and am back on the hunt again. She is very helpful, gives great advice, and knows the N. Virginia market very well. She always tries to work around your schedule to view homes, but doesn't rush you into something you do not want to do. I highly recommend her.

Marcia was wonderful to work with. We found her online at REMAX and was originally going to have her help us find a rental home. We were on a tight timeline and she devoted the entire week to helping us find a home. She found a beautiful home in Alexandria, VA and we couldn't be more happy. We were also moving from another state and couldn't make it to the home inspection - Marcia volunteered her time to be there. She was always prompt with telephone and e-mail replies - which was very much appreciated. I knew that she was working for us when she got the seller to come down in his price and pay closing costs. I met Marcia MacDonald a few days before we listed my cousin's house with her. My cousin had died and we traveled from out of state to settle his estate. Marcia was a neighbor of my cousin. We felt very comfortable with listing the house with Marcia as she seemed to know the neighborhood and area well. She predicted with accuracy the type family that would buy this home. We could not have made a better choice in realtor and now friend. She went well above and beyond any expectation and took care of many things that we could not, being out of state. Marcia was a true pleasure to work with. She was honest, knowledgeable, informative, patient, flexible and aggressive (not WITH me! FOR me.) She is also just an overall pleasant person and I had fun on my search with her. I found a beautiful condo that I love and Marcia was as excited for me as I was. In addition, I am new to the area (moved here from out of state) and she was incredibly helpful providing information not just on handymen and painters, but also driving me around and pointing out some local gems just to get to help me get to know the area. She truly went above and beyond making sure that not only did I find the perfect home for me, but also that I was happy in my new neighborhood. Highly recommended!
