Margaret was raised in Garden City and summered on the East End most of her life. “I always dreamed of living here full-time once I retired and lucky for me, that dream came true much sooner,” she says.
Margaret has many years of experience in the business sector: 10 years as the Executive Director of The East Hampton Business Alliance working as an advocate and liaison for the local business community and government on legislation, housing, and environmental issues. This experience gave Margaret an extensive understanding of local laws, building codes, the permitting process, and how to navigate town and county government.
Prior to moving to East Hampton full-time, Margaret lived in Manhattan and worked as Director of Product Development in the fashion industry. Working in both the retail and wholesale sectors, Margaret traveled extensively all over the Near and Far East—Indonesia, India, Japan, and China—and Europe, developing exclusive products for major companies. She mastered the art of negotiating contracts with global suppliers, listening, respecting a budget, and having a strong work ethic for delivering excellent customer satisfaction. Having experience in home sales, personal property management, and rentals, Margaret has the expertise to achieve successful results for her clients. It is her aspiration to make your real estate dreams come true!
Margaret lives in East Hampton with her husband Michael and a bevy of pups. She is an animal lover and has a pet care business. In her free time, Margaret loves the beach, running with her dogs, and spending time gardening. She supports the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center, ARF, Elisa’s Ark, and God’s Love We Deliver. She is also a volunteer for Maureen’s Haven, a Eucharistic Minister at her church, on the Board of Directors of LTV and current Secretary, a Board member and current Treasurer of East End for Opportunity (EEFO), a member of the Town’s Energy Sustainability Committee, and a member of Monday Night Knitters.
