Margarita is a realtor with Nexthome Assurance Realty in Jacksonville, Florida, and was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After graduating from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus with a bachelor’s in business administration and a minor in human resources, she left Puerto Rico 32 years ago and moved to the USA.

She has been incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to live in California, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Florida, and has been in the banking and mortgage business for the last 33 years. Her experience has been as a loan officer, processor, closer, and underwriter in residential as well as commercial departments. In addition, she was a preferred banker and banking center manager in retail banking for multiple large, well-known banks.

Margarita was laid off from her job as a real estate underwriter and decided to take a leap of faith and start a new career as a residential real estate agent.
