Margie obtained her real estate license in 1997 and upgraded to a broker’s license ten years later in 2007, which has allowed her to experience all day to day operations of a real estate company in both residential and commercial capacities. She has served as a managing broker, property manager, relocation director, and office manager.
Real estate has always been her passion. She has personally taken on owning, flipping, being a landlord, investing, and even restoring, owning, and operating a Bed and Breakfast in Cleveland, TN.
Within their local Association of Realtors, Margie has served as a member and chairperson on several committees including Member Services, Community Outreach, and MLS Advisory. She has also taken on leadership as an MLS Director and Association Director. These opportunities have gained her a plethora of knowledge about the ins and outs of successfully running an Association.
Margie has committed herself to maintaining a high level of continued education, earning the Graduate Realtor Institute, At Home With Diversity, Realtors Commitment to Excellence, Broker, and Cartus Relocation Expert Designations. She is also proud to have consistently earned the Coldwell Banker International Diamond Society and Mult-Million Dollar Producer Awards within her company. In 2020, she was humbled to be selected as the 2020 RCAR Realtor of the Year Award Winner. Currently, she is a member of the following Associations of Realtors: Tennessee (TAR), National (NAR), River Counties (RCAR), Greater Chattanooga Realtors (GCAR), and the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors (KAAR). Margie is an active member of the Cleveland/Bradley County Chamber of Commerce, Ocoee Regional Builder’s Association, and MainStreet Cleveland.
Privately, Margie has been married to her loving husband and retired Army Veteran, David, for almost 42 years. They have 3 children, 4 GRAND daughters, and love spending time with family and traveling all over. With David’s military background, she understands the processes, expectations, challenges, and solutions that the military lifestyle presents. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Central America, even building and owning a home in Costa Rica, but Cleveland, Tennessee has always been “HOME.”
