About Maria

Born and raised on Long Island, New York. (and still have my NY accent...lol)
I visited Florida for the first time in 1988 and immediately fell in love with this area. I knew that I was made for Florida and Florida was made for me!
I transplanted myself and became a "FLORIDIAN" in 1989.

Being a Realtor, to me, is the BEST "job" that a I can have. I love working and helping people. I put the word "JOB" in quotations because to me it's never been a job. This probably sounds corny, but it's been more of a calling.

Initially, when I moved to Florida, I owned a gas station with a convenience store. You know, the kind that now seems to be on every corner. Well, back then, we were also an agent for a major rental moving truck company. From 1989, through the 90's, it seemed like EVERYONE was moving to FLORIDA!
I found that most people were stressed-out about moving.
And I realized that it's very rewarding to help my customers actually ENJOY their move and their search for their new home and neighborhood.

I worked as a Real Estate sales person, and then as a broker associate for another Real Estate Company.

I opened the doors to SUNSTATE REALTY & PROPERTY MANAGEMENT in 2013.

We met Maria in February of 2012 while looking for an investment property in Palm Bay. I am so glad we had Maria as our agent because she is honest, knowledgeable, patient and above all is aware of what her clients are looking for because she listens to their needs and is able to determine exactly what you are looking for in a property. This eliminates wasting valuable time looking at properties that are not suitable for a client. We did purchase a beautiful home and Maria saw everything through right to closing day. As a matter of fact she also does the property managing for us. She also does a superb job when there is any type of issue that needs to be addressed. If you are looking for a real estate expert do not hesitate, call her you will be very happy you did.

Maria is the best! I don't even know where to start. She totally saved us when our mortgage company dropped the ball on us. From the beginning of working with her we gave her our price range and expectations and she made that become a reality. She never pressured us to buy and was always up front and honest about what to expect with each house. She had a wealth of insider knowledge and navigated us through buying our first home with ease. I felt more comfortable asking for her advice than my own parents :). Maria was also able to put a tenant in our home right away. She treated our money like it was hers and was closely guarding it and us. I can't speak highly enough about her. Thanks to her we have our dream home we will eventually retire to. Thanks Maria!!
