Maria Betts has been selling real estate on the Monterey Peninsula since 1980. With over 40 plus years of experience and expertise in this beautiful area, Maria has created a career marked by consistent excellence. Her acumen for the business side of every transaction as well as her ability to develop long term relationships with her clients has been the hallmark of her career.

Maria was born in Neuss, Germany, a city on the River Rhine. She studied abroad and finalized her education in both Geneva, Switzerland, and London, England. While working as an oral hygienist in Germany she met and eventually married her husband, Alan, an Army officer and dentist. They moved back to the United States and started a family. They have two children and three grandchildren. In 1976, they moved to the Central Coast after Alan was transferred to Fort Ord. He subsequently retired and started a private practice in dentistry, giving her the opportunity to pursue and develop her real estate career.
