Making every client a client for life is my goal. As a full-time realtor at Coldwell Banker Advantage Southern Pines/Pinehurst, I have extensive knowledge of Pinehurst and the surrounding Moore County area and have seen the ups and downs of the market. I enjoy helping many find the home that is perfect for their lifestyle and investment or sell their home to the right buyer. After completing my undergraduate and graduate studies at George Washington University, I received my masters in Elementary Education and certification in Special Education in 1997. I taught special education for 2 years in the City of Alexandria Public Schools system before accepting a job as a teacher for The Department of Defense Dependent Schools overseas. This included teaching children of service members stationed at Atsugi, Japan, for 4 years as well as 2 years in Wiesbaden, Germany. After spending a year teaching while in Leavenworth, KS, I made the move to Fort Bragg, NC. where I taught on Fort Bragg at Irwin Intermediate School until 2010. As a stay at home mom to two beautiful girls for the last 6 and 1/2 years, I enjoyed staying active in the Pinehurst community - last year I was the PTO secretary at West Pine Elementary School, which included organizing a plethora of fundraisers and volunteering my time in the classroom. Learning the ins and outs of being a parent in the educational setting rather than an educator has been an amazing experience. This school year I will be the West Pine Elementary Parent Representative for the Parent Advisory Committee. This will give me the opportunity to work closely with the school community to help address parent concerns and share them with the district. I am now enjoying my second career as a realtor after the wonderful experience I had searching for my dream home in Pinehurst and I would like to assist you with all of your real estate needs.
