I have been wanting to expand my home for a few years now but really didn’t know where to begin. I connected with Mariela as I was thinking the better option may be selling and purchasing a new home.

Mariela would have financially benefited from me selling / buying a home with her, but she didn’t provide that option at all. Instead, she asked questions regarding what I was looking to do, why I wanted to sell / buy, and what my needs were. She suggested a different route, which was to explore loans to finance an expansion project. She took the time to explain the benefits of expanding my home versus selling it.

She offered to schedule an appointment for me, and her lender rather than provide me with contact information. Not only did she follow through booking our appointment but also sat in with me to help guide the conversation and made sure all my questions and doubts were addressed.

Both Alan (the lender I spoke with) and Mariela provided invaluable information in the most professional, knowledgeable and compassionate manner. They encouraged questions and throughout the conversation, explored different options (including pros and cons to each) along with their professional opinions while putting themselves in my shoes. For me, that is priceless.

Because taking a loan at this time was not going to be as beneficial as it could in the future, Alan offered to take my information to contact me when timing was better (interest rates are too high right now).

Mariela also offered to connect me to contractors, designers etc. that I may find useful as I plan for my future project.

Mariela and Alan showed they have my best interest in mind as they helped guide me to the decision of waiting versus pressuring me into a loan.

I encourage you to reach out to Mariela if you are thinking about buying / selling. Her actions show she values her customers. She is professional, transparent, reliable and knowledgeable.
