About Marilyn

Marilyn Bauer, CRS, was born in Toronto, Canada, and has been a resident of the desert since 1991. She holds dual citizenship in both Canada and the U.S. In the years 1992 to 1994, Marilyn owned and operated the Dakota Bar & Grill on El Paseo in Palm Desert. Her real estate journey began in 1997 when she became a licensed real estate professional.

Marilyn is dedicated to serving her community and has actively volunteered her time. She served as a member of the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce from 2002 to 2015, where she held the position of Chairperson for three terms. Her commitment and contributions were recognized when she was awarded the Business Woman of The Year by the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce. Marilyn also served for eight years as a Commissioner on the Rancho Mirage Historic Preservation Commission and currently holds the position of Commissioner on the Observatory Advisory Commission.

In 2014, Marilyn earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, showcasing her expertise in the field of residential real estate. She is also a Luxe Director at Bennion Deville Homes, where she consistently delivers exceptional service to her clients. Whether it's assisting clients with grand places or cozy spaces, Marilyn's focus remains on serving the best interests of her clients.
