Strategic, knowledgeable, energic... best describe Marilyn in my mind. No one is better suited for real estate transactions at The Park, Banker's Hill, than the professional that sold out the tower for the building developer. Marilyn, now an agent at Compass, is truly a rock star and demonstrates her superb knowledge of the residential tower at every showing.
From the moment we started working with Marilyn it was obvious that she is unlike other agents. She thinks in a strategic way about how best to market and sell your home and then executes in a way that leads to success.
When we listed our unit with her we were concerned about how rates were rapidly rising and how that could have a negative impact on price. Marilyn avoided that concern by finding multiple cash buyers resulting in a full price offer with a short close and 30 day lease back at $0.00 cost to us. It was a smooth and pleasant experience and I would highly recommend her to represent your next home transaction.

Marilyn Comiskey is amazing! She represented us on both the purchase and sale of our homes. Our experience exceeded our most optimistic hopes! Our home sold in only 4 days with 3 competing offers resulting in a sale price that exceeded the asking price plus a short escrow. Marilyn helped us purchase our new home below the asking price plus with a healthy credit for repairs. We’re seniors and, in addition to these financial achievements, Marilyn provided us great support in staging our house for sale, managing the sales transactions, working with contractors for remodeling of our new home, and the list goes on. Tired of “good enough” products and services? I am! Looking for the best Realtor who “does more”—and makes you feel like your needs are first priority? I was! Luckily, I found Marilyn Comiskey. As housing is being snapped up in San Diego I would never have time to begin the entire process from Casper, Wyoming. She offered to tour the property via video, and she provided all details necessary (including a hand-sketch of the property). I am a first-time home buyer. I had no idea about every step of the process whatsoever when I first started taking a look at homes, or what to expect throughout the process. I also work in the service industry and am very aware that it is wildly important to ensure that: (1) your clients have the necessary information to make informed decisions (whether small or big, like purchasing a house); and (2) that their expectations are established appropriately and met. Marilyn Comiskey exceeded in both aspects.
The amount of effort and time she put into walking me through the process is unbelievable. From the first day that we met, she spent her entire evening walking me through the “big picture.” From there on out, they were always available to provide me with the information that I needed (or didn’t need, but needed for the sake of my sanity) – every decision that I made, small or big, mattered to her. Not only did I feel like I had all the information I need to make those decisions, but I also felt like I was in good hands. Especially because, as a first-time buyer, I didn’t know all of the questions I should be asking (or do’s and don’ts, for example) and they would proactively provide this information, which made me feel like I was walking through this process with eyes wide open. From an expectations perspective, I don’t know how Marilyn does it! I highly recommend Marilyn Comiskey

Marilyn is the most amazing realtor anyone could ask for. I was a new home buyer, trying to find the best place. Marilyn could not have made the process easier. She walked me through every step, and made sure I had all my ducks in a row to be in the best purchase position. She went out of her way to provide dedicated service at any hour. Marilyn time and time again solved problems before they happened and made my life 10x easier. She guided me to be a proud home owner and I can't wait till my next venture to call upon her again. You can't go wrong, if there was 10 stars I would give them. Incredible person and more incredible realtor.

Marilyn is absolutely phenomenal! I recently purchased my first home with her and as a first time home buyer, I had millions of questions. I knew nothing about the escrow process, shopping rates, our interest rate buy-downs. Marilyn took me through several properties and was unbelievable at spotting issues that would arise at a later date. When we found my dream property, she helped me structure an offer in a way that the seller would pay to buy down my interest rate by 3 points. Many of my friends and family had never heard of such a thing and it saved me thousands of dollars on my monthly mortgage. She went to bat for me and negotiated not only a large price reduction, but a seller paid rate buy down, as well as money back on repairs. She set me up with a phenomenal lender, movers, contractors, insurance, you name it. After speaking with colleagues and friends- I quickly learned that my experience was not the norm. Marilyn provided white glove service from beginning to end and was funny and kind throughout the process. She is a class act through and through!

Marilyn sold our penthouse for $140k over asking price in one day! She achieved this last month when the market was no longer “on fire” and set a new sales record for our community of nearly 900 residences. The first afternoon on market, Marilyn brought us four substantial offers and we could not have been more pleased. As a seasoned luxury agent, she came in with a strategy of how she was going to price and market our home. It was astounding how quickly she got the job done and how hard she continually worked on our behalf. She was available 24/7 to answers our calls and questions- and even personally staged our penthouse.
Marilyn also represented us on the purchase of our new residence in Banker’s Hill. As buyers my wife and I felt that we had an experienced trusted agent in Marilyn who explained in detail considerations that needed to be evaluated. Because of her analytical approach to property analysis my wife and I felt we received better value options in the home we purchased. In both the sale of our penthouse and the purchase of our newest residence, Marilyn was the sole realtor- representing both sides of the transaction. She did so both fairly and ethically.

My husband and I had been working with another agent all year and kept losing out on bid after bid to other buyers. I was exhausted and even though our agent came highly recommended by my in-laws, I felt we needed a change. I met Marilyn through a mutual friend and was just blown away by her warmth and tenacity. She is super connected in the industry to boot. She accomplished what my other realtor could never even produce, which was find four off market properties in a matter of a week for us to see in Del Mar, Cardiff, and Leucadia (neighborhoods that houses were sold first day on market). She was tireless in her pursuit to find us the perfect place. Not only did she end up finding our absolute dream home but we did the entire deal off market and didn’t even have to bid against other buyers. Her drive is insane. She will forever be my go to realtor!
