Marilyn attended Meredith College, studying Business Administration. She has been a real estate professional since 2006. Her real estate experience includes not only listings and buyer sales, but she also worked as a Mortgage Consultant with Capital Bank in Raleigh. While in Raleigh, she was a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway York Simpson Underwood, at the North Hills location. She holds the GRI-Graduate Realtors Institute certificate and has achieved Million Dollar Production recognition.
Marilyn's career in the Wilmington area includes listings sales in Landfall, Wrightsville Beach, Wilmington, Carolina Beach, Porter’s Neck, Leland, and Ocean Isle Beach.
Providing concierge-level service and guidance is key, from the initial meeting, property search, writing offers, negotiating, and everything in between to facilitate a smooth closing on time.
For sellers she will explain market data and will strategize with them, for the correct pricing, positioning, and marketing to sell their home as quickly as possible. Market analysis, pricing graphs, networking, social media are important components. Additionally, she provides a synopsis of what buyers are looking for, with today's lifestyles.
For buyers, she provides her clients a complete inventory of all MLS homes meeting their specific requests, as well as analyzing market conditions that are fundamental to placing a strong offer. Negotiating to get the best terms and conditions are a priority. With a commitment to communication, and attention to detail, ensures that buyers, and all parties are informed throughout the transaction.
When not working, you will find her enjoying family time with her adorable sons, going to the gym, photography, art, and relaxing at the beach. A dog lover, she has a devoted, long-coat German Shepherd.
