Marina Burman

Marina Burman is a dedicated professional who offers her clients a broad range of real estate experience. Marina began her real estate career as an appraiser in 1983 learning all aspects of the business from her step-father, a commercial and residential real estate appraiser. She quickly established herself as an expert in residential property valuations throughout the Chicagoland area and in 1987, Marina started her own successful real estate appraisal firm.

Marina soon realized that her clients were looking to her for guidance with purchasing and selling real estate so in 2000, she became a licensed real estate broker. Since obtaining her sales license, she has consistently been a multi-million dollar producer. Marina’s success comes as a result of her extensive experience in property evaluation, construction quality, rehabilitation, investment property, financing and marketing. Marina is committed to working closely with her clients to assure that all aspects of the buying and selling process are handled in a smooth and professional manner. Her positive attitude and calm demeanor have proven to be an asset when negotiating and she is able to bring parties together to successfully close transactions.

A Chicago and North Shore native, Marina and her husband have lived in Glenview for more than 27 years where they have raised their three children. She has been active in her children’s lives and the organizations in which they were involved including soccer, baseball, girl scouts, boy scouts, Titan Poms and lacrosse. She served as a parent representative on the Design Committee providing input for the construction of Attea Middle School in the Glen. On that project, she worked alongside District 34 administrators, the architectural firm and the construction company from pre-ground breaking to the day the school doors were open.

Marina is a member of the North Shore Board of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, Women’s Council of Realtors, the Winnetka Club and the Sarah Siddons Society. She is a cum laude graduate of Loyola University of Chicago with a degree in Fine Art.
