Marion Williams

Marion D. Williams, CCIM is an Atlanta native with 25-years of real estate valuation and sales experience.

Marion began his career in real estate as an agent with Metro Brokers/Better Homes and Gardens in 1996. In 1998 he became a registered appraiser with First American Appraisers. In 2000 he joined the DeKalb County Tax Assessors Property Appraisal Department. Over his 20 years with the Property Appraisal Department he valued all types of properties including single family residential, multifamily residential, Low Income Housing Tax Credit properties, office buildings, hospitals, special assessments (Brownfield) and commercial land.

Marion has a BBA in Real Estate from Georgia State University. He is a 2017 graduate of the University of Georgia, Carl Vinson Institute of Aspiring Mangers. He served as immediate Past Chair of the Commercial Committee for the Georgia Associations of Assessing Officials (GAAO). He is currently a member of the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) and is a Certified Assessment Evaluator (CAE) designation candidate.

Marion earned the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation in 2018 from the CCIM Institute, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. Marion currently serves on the Georgia CCIM Chapter Board of Directors as the Chairperson of the University Outreach and Scholarship Committee. Marion is a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors. He serves on its Diversity and the Community Service committees.
