Maris Laporter

Maris Laporter has been an agent with the Snyder Group for over five years. Prior to beginning her real estate career, her formal education and interests centered on art and design.

While a librarian at Cranbrook Academy of Art, Maris developed expertise in connecting people with useful information. With her design sensibilities, she provides sellers with useful suggestions on how to best prepare their homes for the most effective presentation and marketing.

As a veteran of national and international relocations, Maris knows the emotional and logistical complexities of a family move- and most importantly- how to smooth the rough spots along the way. She is enthusiastic about the quality of life in and around Ann Arbor, which causes her clients to turn to her as a community consultant as well as a real estate consultant.

In her spare time, Maris enjoys the outdoors. She recently completed a marathon in Paris, France, and in 2004, she achieved the Master Gardener designation.
