Welcome Everyone! I am so excited to share details about me and what led me to my dream job of being a “Realtor”.
I was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and moved to Hartford, Connecticut when I was 1 year old. I am fluent in English and Spanish. I am married to a retired police officer and have 4 children and most recently welcomed 2 grandchildren.
What I remember most about Hartford was that I grew up in a community where all the families knew each other, and the kids played outside until sunset. This community is known as “the projects (primarily for low income families)”. I did not know I lived in the projects until the age of 28 when a church friend asked me to present to a group of “Single Moms” about my background and how I became a “Senior Vice President” at a Global Banking institution. For the first time in my life, I realized I grew up in the projects with low income families. I am proud that I had the opportunity to connect with people from different cultures. Living in the projects allowed me to appreciate each other regardless of your background. In High School I was involved in committees and sports all year round. This enabled me to earn a scholarship to go to “University of Hartford”. Their commitment was to “prepare ambitious and knowledgeable leaders through renowned academic programs and experiences”. After college I started my career at a successful major bank in Connecticut. After 25 years in banking, my employer gave me the opportunity to relocate to Florida and keep my job.
In 2015, I moved to River Strand Golf Country Club in Bradenton, Florida. This was one of my goals to move to a golf course.
My husband and I love golfing and we are very competitive (at least with each other). In our community we have made friends and have taken advantages of all the amenities that are included in our neighborhood.
I became a real estate agent because I want to help people accomplish their dream like I did!
