Mark Butler

Mark Butler is a third generation managing broker, with 40 years of experience in the Chicagoland area. Mark’s grandfather established his commercial real estate business in 1917 on the corner of Crawford & Madison in Chicago, IL. Mark’s father grew up in the business as well, later relocating to Oak Park, IL.

The youngest of six children, Mark grew up in Oak Brook, IL. He worked for his father, assisting him in the condemnation appraisals for the state of Illinois for the development of the north-south tollway known as the I-355. He learned the ins and outs of the brokerage business, then later obtained his real estate license in 1984 and established Mark Butler Properties in 2020, currently located in Downers Grove, IL.

Mark prides himself on providing exceptional personal service, loyalty, and exceeding his clients’ expectations. He enjoys aggressively representing his clients while specializing in the sale and leasing of retail, office, multifamily, industrial, and vacant land sales.
