He allowed us our time in each home and pointed out pros and cons and possibilities regardless of whether the house we were looking at was the first or the one we decided to call our home. My wife and I met Mark when he showed us a home we found on Zillow in Jul, 2012. Mark was the seller's agent. We both liked his non hassle approach and his ability to listen to our requirements. We liked him so much, we decided to ask him to represent us. This turned out to be a great decision: 1) Mark is a data guy. He walked us through the houses on the market and clearly explained which ones were the best deals that fit our needs. He made a very intimidating process seem less intimidating. 2) Even though we were already going through the pre-approval process through our lender, Mark suggested we use one of his contacts to see if we could get a better deal. This was a great call! Mark's contact was a full percentage point less than our lender, plus he was able to close in less than 30 days. 3) Mark's communication is exceptional. I always felt I knew exactly what was going on and what the next steps would be. Everything Mark promised came true. There were absolutely no surprises. 4) During the negotiation process, Mark added a few items that served me well (seller paid for 13 month home warranty and he negotiated the repair of some roof damage). I tell anybody and everybody I know who is looking for a home to go to Mark. It's important to know that I only have a working relationship with him and I have zero incentive to write this review. I am doing it to reward Mark for a job well done and to help anybody who is reading this to know that you can trust him. -- Thomas and Rachelle R

Mark's expertise and professionalism were great assets as we worked for months on finding and purchasing our family's first home. San Diego's hot market provided quite a challenge and there were many other obstacles that we had to overcome through the process; Mark's guidance was excellent through it all. He always gave his honest assessment of any given situation and supported his assertions with real data. He quickly analyzed any property we were considering and always talked about the possibilities and limitations of the situation in practical, as well as in creative, terms. Being a meticulous person, I read nearly all of the documents associated with our search and purchase. Thus, I had many questions regarding said documents. Mark either answered my questions directly, or referred me to a qualified expert who was able to help. Mark has been more than accommodating for us first time homebuyers. He not only has gone above and beyond to help explain every step and process to us, but he has been truly compassionate and has made it very obvious he puts our wants and needs as the number one priority. Mark was great. Always responsive to our needs and available when needed. We were buying from out of town so his availability was very important. He took care of all concerns and issues that ever came up. We have used Mark to sell and to buy a home and will continue to use him if needed.
