I got my California Real Estate license in 2017, and I was awarded "Honor Society" by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices for commissions earned in 2018 and 2021. At around $4.5 million in sales in 2018, I was in the top 14% commissions earned at the 2019 national convention of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. I was awarded "Leading Edge Society", putting me in the to 8% of agents nationwide for 2020 and 2022.
I bought my first home in 2000 and a few years later I acquired enough equity in it to dabble in real estate investment. I've been an investor, landlord and house flipper since 2005. I currently own a home in Vallejo, CA and I have twelve rental units in Detroit.
I've lived in the Bay Area since 1981 and spent most of that time in San Francisco. For buyers lucky enough to afford San Francisco or Oakland, I know those markets very well and I can give you plenty of information about most of the various neighborhoods. (I know lots of landmarks and trivia!) But, since moving to my new suburban hometown at the end of 2015, I am a major booster of Vallejo, CA! Warmer weather, adjacent to Wine Country, and some great housing deals!
