After 21.5 years in the same little house, my wife and I decided to upgrade to a house that we can share and create many new lasting memories with family and friends. We reached out to Mark to help us with this journey. Mark assisted us with the selling of our current home as well as helped us find a home that met our very specific wants. This was not an easy task. Not only were we not up on the real estate process but we wanted a very specific house. Mark stepped up to the plate and hit a home run. Mark was not just a real estate agent. Mark was very patient in educating us on the ins and outs of the process, provided guidance (recommendations – choices were all ours), juggled both the selling and buying of the homes, shared contacts to complete needed tasks and truly had our family has the main focus of this transaction. Mark went above and beyond the call of duty as my wife and I have very tight schedules and we were trying fit this life changing event into a small window. Somehow, Mark made it all happen. If you are looking for more than a real estate agent, Mark Koumelis is the gentlemen you want to call.

Mark was so great beginning to end even after we funded he is still helping us and is willing to answer questions. He was able to schedule appointments and go to showing based on our personal schedules, he worked harder than the selling agent that's for sure! And he was very knowledgeable about different cities we were interested in looking in and gave recommendations of companies to use for home warranty, internet, etc...overall this was such a stress-free experience and I am glad my Mother recommended him to us, thanks so much Mark!

As a first time home buyer, I can tell you the entire process is both terrifying and exciting. Having a seasoned professional to guide you is absolutely invaluable. Someone who knows the in's and out's of buying a home and who won't be afraid to negotiate and fight for you in the proceedings.

I had to go through a couple of agents to get to him, but I can assure you that you will find all of that in Mark Koumelis. His kindness and understanding is only matched by his professionalism and perseverance in finding you the perfect home. Mark makes himself available well beyond the call of duty, and keeps the lines of communication open at almost all times. He inspired confidence in me to make offers and, when I found the one, to see it through. With his help, I was able to find the right house at the right price.

I had started this journey with other realtors, whom I won't mention in this review, but the difference between them and Mark was absolutely night and day. Even other seller's agents I had dealt with did not come anywhere near Mark's level.

He also has a great sense of humor, yet is very respectful of your time and your money. It doesn't matter if you're buying a home that is worth $100,000 or $1,000,000, Mark treats you like you are his only client and prioritizes his services around you. I would highly recommend Mark to any of my friends, family and co-workers.

We started our search for our first home back in October of 2015. We were using an agent and broker from Cameron Park. It was nothing but a nightmare for us.

We were ready to give up on buying a house and just stay renters when we found Mark Koumelis. We researched him thoroughly on the internet and read he was regarded by clients and peers as one of the best. So we decided to give him a chance before we gave up on our dream of owning a home.

When we spoke to him over the phone, and then met Mark in person, he seemed to really know his stuff. By the time we left his office, we felt a renewed hope that this may work out. After showing us only three houses, we made an offer that, with Mark’s guidance and experienced negotiations, was accepted. Before we knew it, we are now home owners. We really owe it all to Mark.

After the drama of the first agent and everyone telling us that buying a house is like a roller-coaster ride with ups and downs, I can say that Mark takes such good care of you, that we really did not have any downs. It all went very smoothly and I could not be more impressed.

So, if you are looking for your tenth home or your first, I can not say enough about Mark and urge you to give him a call!
