We sought Mark's expertise after having issues with selling our first home during a seller's market. Our previous real estate agent was unable to solicit one offer for our home in July of 2004 after approximately 3 weeks. We spoke to Mark about our circumstance and decided he was the person who could help us. Mark had our house under contract in six days and was able to get more than our asking price. Since this time we have used Mark to purchase land and to look at investment properties. Mark also helped with the sell of my wife's grandmother's home after her passing. His demeanor and attitude were appreciated by all family members during this trying time. He is always willing to assist and does not pressure us into a deal as a buyer or a seller. Mark presents himself in a very professional manner and is a great example for the real estate profession.

Mark was a very pleasant agent to work with, and very accommodating to get me the place I wanted. Highly recommend Mark to do a awesome job, very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you are happy with what you purchased.

I was in the Marine Corps and stationed on Okinawa, Japan but within a few years of retiring. My wife and I wanted to settle down in Virginia, (this would put us about midway between both familes). I was sent to Quantico in 2003 for a 6 six week school and ran into a family we knew from Okinawa and talked to them about buying some land within 50 miles of the base. She gave me Mark's phone number and had high praise for him. Throughout the weeks Mark and I kept missing each others phone calls. The night before I was flying out, Mark caught up with me. We exchanged e-mail addresses and I kept in touch with him. My wife and I planned to fly back to Virginia in 2004 to meet Mark and look for land or a house but I went to Iraq instead. Finally, in 2005, we made the trip back and met Mark. He was in an auto accident a couple days prior and provided another realitor for us but the houding boom was going on and she didn't seem real interested in spending much time showing land or houses. We contacted Mark and he met with us, (remember he was in neck and back braces from the accident) when he should have been home recovering. He went out of his way for us and we found 6 acres that my wife fell in love with and purchased it. We had to fly back to Okinawa, so Mark worked with my brother (from Maryland) doing making sure all the proper paper work was completed for the purchase. After I retired in 2007, we came back to Virginia and met with Mark to look for a builder. His wife, Denise found Design Craft Homes builder for us. After talking to them and a couple other builders, we went with Design Craft and Mark went to every meeting we had with the builder to ensure we were taken care of and treated right. We moved into our home in 2008 and tell our friends the great experience we had with Mark and the builder and our friends tell us their horror stories about their realitor and builder. We still stay in touch with Mark and his family; in fact, we consider them part of the family. I still carry Marks business cards and give them out to folks when the occasion arises. I tell them that Mark will take care of them and isn't out just to make a fast buck. He is truely a professional. My wife and I highly recommend Mark to any of our friends or family.
