Born and raised in suburban Washington, DC. Mark lived and worked summers at the beach while attending the University of Maryland and he always dreamed about making the move permanent. In 2002, his wife and he decided to move to the Outer Banks. They have never regretted their decision and they feel extremely fortunate to have raised their family here and enjoy the quality of life available on these beautiful barrier islands.
