We highly recommend working with Mark for your real estate needs. We contracted with Mark as both a buyer and a seller, and in both cases, he was courteous, professional, kind, patient, and incredibly helpful in leading us through these transactions. We sold our previous home and bought our new home on the same day, and Mark served as the communication conduit among all parties, including us, our buyers, their agent, our sellers, their agent, and both title and closing companies. He was there with us through the full journey, taking much of the burden off of us. Mark is flexible and cares about his clients as people first. I hope to be in my home for years to come, but Mark will be my first call if that changes!

Mark is the most experienced and professional Realtor I have ever worked with. After months of not being able to sell our mothers home, we switched Realtors and partnered with Mark to sell it. He completely changed the marketing, photos, and provided us continuous data updates on our mother's home. Within just a few days, we had multiple showings and sold the property within weeks.

Just bought and sold with Mark! He is an amazing realtor, fought hard for me when I needed him, answered any and all questions quickly, and he was willing to help me with literally ANYTHING from start to finish. Even after I bought my house he offered to help me call utilities, get quotes from movers, just whatever he thought would be helpful. Trying to navigate the housing market during this time was truly confusing and stressful. It was crazy, the standard way I shopping and comparing were totally turned upside down into a game of blindfolded Russian roulette.
Fortunately, I had the opportunity to have the assistance of Mark Sotherden with EMC Realty. He definitely was the cool breeze that calmed the chaos. I can't say enough about Mark Sotherden of EMC Realty. He has been so helpful, there at every step and even after hand surgery showed up for a final walk thru even though he didn't need to. He has taken care of everything for us.

The compassion he has shown, and the empathy that we needed during our selling and buying process is what we were needing and he supplied.

You will not go wrong hiring Mark as your realtor. Forget the stars he would have 10 from us if we were able too.

If you want someone that is reliable, will pck-up every call even at odd hours, and is there with you every step of the way then Mark is that person you have been hoping to hire to sell and purchase your home.

Please know that I wouldn't do a review on just anyone, but Mark is someone that deserves to do well just for his kindness. Hire him you won't go wrong!!!!!

My wife and I were looking for a place in the Delaware, OH area. Mark of EMC realty was recommended to us and we were very satisfied with his work. Finding a place was not easy as we lived 3 hours away, but he was always there as if he was our personal agent. After moving into our new place we were faced with selling our old place. Throughout the process both times he was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He was determined to help us find the right fit the first time, patiently guiding us through all our questions and concerns.
