Mark has over thirty years of experience in commercial real estate, specializing in retail and restaurants, with considerable knowledge in leasing, sales and development transactions. Mark was the leasing coordinator for a commercial real estate developer, responsible for the total transaction from start to finish. This included marketing, lease negotiation, lease document preparation and negotiation, the construction management of the tenant build-out, and ongoing management of the tenant.
He was the managing broker and assisted with the startup of facilities management division of this real estate services company operating throughout New England.
As the broker of record for The UPS Store’s expansion in Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut and New York, Mark completed over 60 transactions for The UPS Store.
In recent years a large portion of his time has been spent working on development transactions. He has been involved in a large number of development transactions involving national and regional retailers, including Dollar General, Walgreens, Taco Bell, Hannaford's Supermarkets, AT&T Wireless, Kinney Drugs, and many others.
Over the years, he has assisted numerous local, national and regional companies in securing commercial space and properties to meet their needs, leading to his involvement in over 1000 commercial real estate assignments.
Prior to his entrance into the commercial real estate field he owned and operated a construction company in the Burlington, Vermont area.
His former construction and municipal planning experience gives him insight that has been instrumental in his commercial real estate transactions.
