Prior to being a Realtor, Marla helped launch PediaSpeech Services, a private therapy company that offers speech and occupational therapy to children and served as the Office Manager there for several years. She was born and raised in Gwinnett County and graduated from The University of Georgia with a degree in Business Education. Marla has been married to her husband Mike for 30 years, and they have 2 wonderful children, Malerie (27) and Michael (23). Marla is also the Founder of Malerie’s Hope, a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is: to find the cause and cure for childhood cancer, to help families who have a child that has been diagnosed with cancer, and to make an impact in the life of someone who has made a difference in the life of a special needs person. She enjoys living on Lake Lanier, playing tennis, reading books, and spending time with family and friends.
