We just moved to our new home in Homestead. It’s our first home. After all the processes involved, I feel so blessed because I was fortunate to had Marlen Llamas Leon by my side since day one of the search for inventory. We couldn’t afford something new, we were short in cash, and we wanted a safe neighborhood; almost mission impossible, so there were many critical aspects that only an experienced professional could deal with.

Three friends of mine have told me that they did everything by themselves; but every property brings to the table a unique set of risks involved.
For example, other realtors told us that we should wait one more year because our financial situation was not optimal. Marlene and her team made the financing and closing possible this year, before the market and economy gets even worst.

Every property is like a box full of surprises. We were dealing with old houses. If Marlene hadn’t protected us legally, others would had taken advantage of our lack of experience.

As our realtor, Marlene answered every single text and was clear about how to proceed; she firmly expressed what was inconvenient and when to move to the next one.

We felt always treated as family by her. A very important factor in our successful closing was that Marlene secured the appropiate team that made the financing process successful for our specific needs.

The day before the closing Marlene insisted to walk the property again to be sure that everything was right. We were so busy that we almost skipped it. Oh boy! She found out that some appliances were missing. She made sure the missing things were delivered to our home next week.

Even 15 days after moving she’s still answering my newly-homeowner questions and asking to know how we are going. If you want my advice, hire someone experienced with a good heart. Peace of mind is priceless.
