About Marolynn

Having lived in Boone all of my life and from working at the Boone Shopper for over 25 years, I know the Boone area very well and the many attractions and events that it has to offer. My husband, Don, is originally from Kelley. He works for Harold Pike Construction in Ames. Our daughter, Whitney, graduated in 2011 from Iowa State with a masters in Accounting and a Spanish minor. She currently works for Farm Bureau in West Des Moines. She lives in Adel with her husband Brandon and my grandchildren.


I enjoy spending time with my family – including our Schnoodle, Adi and Whitney’s Jack Russell, Aspen. I also enjoy landscaping and gardening projects around my home.
