About Marsha
Prior to joining Coach Realtors in 2009, Marsha Ander spent 13 years in mortgage origination sales before owning and operating her own brokerage, Proactive Capital. Simultaneously, seeing a market for helping clients navigate credit problems, Marsha opened a debt negotiation company called Proactive Settlements in 1996.
After graduating with a degree in journalism from Hofstra University, Marsha produced a national radio show called Newsweek on Air, a co-production of the Associated Press and Newsweek Magazine. She was an award winning editor at the Queens Tribune, Port Jefferson Record and a daily lifestyle reporter for the Staten Island Advance. She briefly returned to journalism in 2008 as editor of the Nassau Herald, the flagship newspaper of Richner Publications, before making the decision to return to the housing industry.
As a sales associate for Coach, Marsha was recently a presenter at Coach's 7th Annual Roundtable and Education Conference at the Hauppauge Sheraton, and has attended Christies International Education conferences in NYC. She is a Relocation Specialist, a member of the Long Island Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Marsha's collective experience helps her navigate the needs of both buyer and seller in an ever changing real estate market. As an experienced negotiator, communicator and leader, she primarily works on recommendation within the south shore of Long Island.
A fourth generation Five Towns resident, Marsha Ander has been a Board of Trustee member of Temple Beth Emeth for the last decade.
