Marsha Funk possesses an impressive resume. Having fulfilled an array of roles over the course of her career, Marsha Funk commands extensive experience in the realms of large-scale organizational administration, technology, and software. Between 2009 and 2012, she functioned as Director of Conference, Membership, and Business Development for the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA), an alternative energy lobbying firm specializing in the promotion of wind development. Based in Washington DC, the AWEA represents wind manufacturers across the country within the political arena.
Marsha Funk has fulfilled numerous professional positions. Prior to her tenure with the American Wind Energy Association, she presided as Program Director with the INTEGRIS Center for Digestive Health, located in Oklahoma City. Acting in this capacity with the specialty clinical practice between 2007 and 2009, she managed all day-to-day operations for the organization. During this time, she augmented community awareness of digestive health services while working on innovative research with physicians, which led to improved patient satisfaction, ultimately achieving a #1 ranking across all of Oklahoma for digestive disorders by US News and World Report for 2009.
Immediately before this, Marsha Funk operated as both a Campaign Manager and a Victory Project Director for one of Oklahoma's Political Committees, occupying these roles from October 2005 to November 2006. In this capacity, she supervised all aspects of a major congressional campaign, managing staff and volunteers, budgets and budget projections, media purchases, coordinating messaging and logistics. She has also served as Regional Software and Services Account Specialist with the IBM Software Division, West Region. While employed at IBM, she supervised the financial aspects of technical software and software consulting services in large accounts across numerous US states. She garnered numerous sales leadership and symposium awards as well as coveted regional and national awards. Marsha Funk holds a BA in Fine Arts and an MBA from the University of Oklahoma.
