While Marshall knows Wrightsville Beach and the greater Landfall area well, he also participates in downtown real estate. Over the past 12 months he has represented buyers for the Iconic Greystone Inn, Front Street Inn, and the Verandas (historic four diamond boutique bed and breakfast). He is part owner of the Graystone which is undergoing an extensive multi-million-dollar renovation and slated to open Summer of 2022.

Marshall has a second passion: golf. At the age of 15, he qualified for the US Amateur Championship at the prestigious Oakmont Country Club, and this elevated him to a successful and rewarding junior and professional career playing in tournaments like the US Junior Amateur, another US Amateur, North South Amateur, Rex Hospital Open, and many more. Marshall grew up in Wilmington NC and 45 holes at The Country Club of Landfall were his golfing paradise.

Marshall and his wife love Landfall. They enjoy spending time with their dog Dudley and boating with their in-laws on the Intracoastal Waterway. In addition, they enjoy hanging out with friends and enjoying all the amenities the coastal lifestyle offers. The Beach, Wilmington’s excellent fine dining scene, events, and entertaining keep the Pickett’s busy. Marshall always finds time for Golfing with his real estate clients!
