A southwest Florida residential specialist for over 23 years, Marty Warren thoroughly enjoys the world of real estate. Beyond her energy and enthusiasm for the business, she is described by clients as the consummate people person, a good listener and communicator, and a stickler for detail and follow through with every closing, and beyond.
Marty is a full-time experienced listing and sales agent and is known for being a business professional with expert negotiating skills, creative and well-targeted marketing, and a commitment to ongoing education via affiliations with ABR, GRI, SAR, NAR and FAR. She specializes in "Gulf to golf" houses and condominiums, concentrating on the islands including Siesta and Longboat, mainland Sarasota including Palmer Ranch, as well as Venice to the south and Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton to the north. Her incomparable coverage and knowledge of the Sarasota area, and its cultural and lifestyle opportunities, makes Marty an asset to customers, and the ultimate go-to resource for all their real estate needs. She strives to make the journey of selling or purchasing a home a fun, exciting and positive experience for everyone and by doing so, she is rewarded with future referrals of many customers' family members and friends.
Prior to moving to Sarasota in 1998 and starting her real estate career, Marty worked for over a decade as Development Director for a private secondary school in Maine where she honed her leadership, communication and event planning abilities. As co-owner of a gourmet restaurant in Maine for 22 years with her husband, she also developed her keen business sense and customer service skills. Born in Cambridge, MA, and raised in southern Maine, Marty holds a BA from Skidmore College in New York, a Teaching Certificate from the University of Maine, and an advanced French Certificate from the Sorbonne in Paris.
Although true New Englanders at heart, Marty and her husband have lived happily on Siesta Key since moving to Florida, in a home where their three adult children, grandchildren, and guests can visit and enjoy deeded beach access to Turtle Beach and the overall relaxed island experience. In her coveted "spare time," Marty enjoys traveling, golf, curling up with a good book or listening to music, and volunteering: weekly for The Exchange, a consignment shop which provides $250,000 annually to local cultural organizations and to students pursuing higher education in the arts; for the American Cancer Society Making Strides annual event; and other philanthropic causes supported by her Premier Sotheby's office in downtown Sarasota.
