Martin Hauen-limkilde

Martin came to Maui in the fall of 1990. He was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark where his family had been dealing in fine arts and antiques for three generations, a tradition Martin has kept up. Martin was lured to Hawaii by his love and search for a clean and spoiled environment. After visiting for just a short while, the power of the Pacific and the beauty of Maui had a somewhat magical effect on him. Quickly he came to realize that he was not to kid himself, he should consider settling down on Maui, to maximize his quality of life.

When time allows, Martin enjoys the ocean whether it is surfing, sailing, spear fishing or simply swimming as well as hiking, biking, and gardening. Martin lives on the North Shore of Maui just outside of the historic Paia plantation town next to Baldwin Beach.
