Mary Beth Ryan has assisted me in my home search journey since the wild wild west markets of 2021 (2% interest rates! Remember those days?)

She has adult children close to my age, and I felt confident & reassured by her safety perspective, like noticing when a sliding door had two internal locks or when a house foundation indicated settling.

My partner and I had a very atypical first time home buyer experience, complicated with legal difficulties, yet she kept our chins up while also giving us the truth of the matter. Never felt pressured to walk or to close on the deal -- that decision remained our own.

Her communication, reliability, and endurance in our home buying process were incredible & hugely comforting.

She's been a wonderful support and expert! Now that we've closed, I'm going to miss her!

Working with Mary Beth Ryan was great! Due to the nature of the housing market in 2022-2023, it took a lot of effort to find a home that fit what I needed. After visiting countless homes, I was able to close on a move in ready home, under asking price, in 2023! She will not try to push you into home that does not match what you're looking for and in such a competitive market, made herself available on weekends, evenings, etc. Working with Mary Beth truly felt like having someone there to help you buy a home, not sell you one. Our home buying process went smoothly because of Mary Beth. She was extremely responsive and set up all showings quickly. She was patient and understanding of the fact that our 3 kids would be joining us for many home tours. She pointed out positives and negatives of each home, addressing the negatives with possible solutions. Once we made an offer, Mary Beth handled all the negotiations seamlessly. Mary Beth was our realtor for both the sale of our house and purchase of our new house. She was honest and up front about what we needed to do to get our home ready to sell. She kept us informed throughout the sale process and kept our expectations realistic.
Mary Beth was always quick to reply and set up showings for homes we were interested in. Once we found a house we loved, she was again very thorough with explaining the process and the home inspection. I admit that I was very nervous with the negotiation process but we trusted her and couldn’t have been more pleased with the price we were able to settle on. Any questions we had, Mary Beth was quick to answer. We felt like she always had our backs whenever we had a concern with the property we were purchasing and consistently followed up on items that needed to be addressed during the home inspection.
We plan on staying in our current home for a long time but if we ever needed a realtor again in the future there’s no doubt we’d pick Mary Beth. We have no hesitation recommending Mary Beth to others looking for properties in the area.

Mary Beth is really great at knowing the western suburbs, listening to your needs, and helping you find contacts post an offer such as for an inspector, lender, painter, etc. My price point was lower than others in the area, so I'm certain she has clients who can afford more home than me, yet she made me a priority and truly wanted my boys and I to find a home that met our needs for price, location, schools, and curb appeal.
