Proud Fort Worth native Mary Carolyn Gatzke—or M.C.—is an industry pathfinder with an interesting sports background and entrepreneurial spirit. She co-founded Bloom Real Estate Group in 2013, a boutique real estate firm based in Fort Worth, and now serves the Fort Worth real estate marketplace as Executive Vice President of renowned luxury group, Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty (BFSIR), as of September 2015.
M.C. earned her BA from Southwestern University in 1997, followed by her Master’s degree in Sports Administration from Baylor University. Prior to realizing her affinity for real estate, M.C. forged a career in sales and marketing for the Big 12 Conference, the Dallas Stars, and the Texas Rangers—a career preluded by her markup as a collegiate athlete.
Once establishing herself as a Broker Associate in Fort Worth, M.C. worked at Williams Trew Sotheby’s International Realty for nine years and quickly became a success, earning the professional designations as an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), and Historic Home Specialist by Historic Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Association of Realtors.
