Mary Catherine Smith

Born and raised in Athens, Mary Smith graduated from Athens Academy in 1993 and then went on to earn her degree in marketing from Ole Miss. Post graduation, she came home to Athens and has been an active member of the community ever since. She grew up in an area known as Five Points which is well known for its proximity to the University of Georgia and Downtown, and largely raised her family there. She has a special place in her heart for Athens, which is why she decided to enter the real estate industry in 2004. She likes to think she has a talent for juggling – one only a parent of four kids can possess. With her years of experience and her drive to find her clients their ideal homes, she always gets the job done. She takes pride in her industry connections and relationships. For her, communication is always key, which is why she takes extra care to listen to all her clients’ needs and work together to find exactly what they are looking for. She loves to work with buyers on their home search and build relationships with her clients. When she is not busy working with clients to seek out the perfect property, she has the privilege of serving as a member of the Athens Academy Board, the Athens Heritage Garden Club, and the Colonial Dames of America. She also supports the amazing, local organization Extra Special People. She is proud to have won the Circle of Honor Award every year since 2014, as well as the Circle of Excellence Award in 2017 and the Circle of Distinction Award in 2013.
