About Mary

Mary grew up in a town in the eastern part of the state of Washington. She lived in a charming 1920’s colonel home where her mom had great style and a creative eye for design. Mary’s bedroom was upstairs and had dormer windows with great angles and lines. As a child, her favorite pastime was to walk to the local paint store, pick up paint swatches, and wallpaper books. You can imagine how difficult it was to walk home with those heavy books.

One day Mary was allowed to re-decorate my bedroom. She spent some time thinking on the design and selected large print wallpaper and a hand-blown glass light fixture that would set the stage for the room. It was a pretty bold design to say the least. She recently realized that the wallpaper and light fixture that I selected for my room are now back in style! This was her first experience with design. Interior design became my passion and mission.

After 15 years of independent Interior design consulting, Mary stepped into assisting my family’s business, DC Fine Homes. Her role at DC Fine Homes has involved countless projects from large and small, projects where she provided key contributions in color, texture and furniture design placement for new homes and remodels along with staging homes for the Tour of Homes.

Today she is a real estate broker, interior designer and stager with a heart to serve and help. Homes have always been and will always be her passion. Mary believes her vast experience will benefit my clients however and whenever they need design or real estate services.

Mary is hands down the best! She is not in this process for herself; it’s all about you and you can feel that when you work with her. She gets to know you and what is important to you so she can find you the best home. Mary also helped us in selling our place and was amazing! She helped get our house setup and staged to where we almost reconsidered selling. Mary was responsive and respectful of us, our time and our home. She really goes above and beyond.
