After my honorable service in the United States Marine Corps, I decided to put my strategic skills to work—no camouflage required! Back in the late 1980s, early 1990's while most folks were busy crimping their hair and jamming to cassette tapes, I was diving headfirst into the world of real estate.
My very first investment property? A charming duplex in Detroit, Michigan. But hey, why stop there? After moving to Utah in 1994, My partner-in-crime (and life), Julie, and I soon found ourselves juggling multiple rental properties and rehab projects. We were like the dynamic duo of DIY—painting, hammering, and turning fixer-uppers into dream homes.
Fast-forward to 2002: Armed with determination and a freshly minted real estate license, I stepped into the spotlight as an agent. And guess what? I didn’t just stop at being an agent—I leveled up to Associate Broker status in 2007.
