Maryam Tu

Though she is a native Portlander, she is incredibly fortunate to bring national and international experience to her job as a Realtor. She is a firm believer that no matter what a person’s background or life experience, the home is an essential part of creating a lifetime of happiness and harmony.

After growing up in Portland, she attended UC Berkeley, where she received a BA in English. From California, she moved to Brooklyn, NY, where she helped open the critically-acclaimed Brooklyn Fare, a unique hybrid of grocery and test kitchen. She then brought her experience to Portland, where she continued to work with international clientele in luxury retail for almost a decade.

She lives in the Hawthorne district with her partner Jules, young daughter Sufiyah, and Rainy the cat. She continues to support the Asian-American Women’s Alliance and Raphael House, and has pledged a portion of every commission toward these valuable causes.
