I feel grateful to have had Lisa McFeely, with The Berrang Team/INI Realty Inc., as my realtor. Lisa was very familiar with all areas of Jacksonville, FL, where I wanted to live. She knew my price point/situation and showed me quite a few different property types, so I could make a decision. I welcomed her input. Any questions I had, were ALWAYS answered in a timely manner. I was also surprised to hear about all the connections their Team had with businesses & contractors in the housing field. She did a lot of calling on my behalf to find out information and I appreciated it so much. I felt she had my best interest in mind AND I feel like I gained a new friend. 🙂

I just closed on my first home with Matt. Matt and his team were patient, supportive, responsive, and readily available. Living out of state and traveling for work posed some challenges in this market where properties go under contract in the first 24-48 hours, but Matt and his team made it feel easy. As A first time home buyer , not only did he guide me through submitting a winning offer I was comfortable with, but also helped with reviewing lenders, acquiring insurance, and the closing process in general. Back in 2014 we lost our custom home to a Florida DOT highway project. As with many government projects, it was very much a "hurry up and wait" fiasco. There were years of delays, but suddenly we had to move. We bought a home listed by Matt and his team and they all were very patient and helpful with the complexities of our transaction...complex waterfront property, tricky financing and unplanned extended possession by the former homeowner.

In early 2021 it became time to sell the home. Given how well our purchase went we knew Matt was the right guy to help us navigate this year's crazy market. Matt carefully calculated a fair listing price based on comparable home sales and the unique characteristics of our home and gave us a "to do list" to maximize value and help achieve a quick sale.

However, right before we listed our home we received and accepted an unsolicited offer to sell it. Matt was a REALLY good sport about losing our listing (and the commission) and even assisted us with making sure everything was on the up and up at no charge.

Once again, we needed another home pretty quickly, and we relied on Matt to work through that process. In the middle of all that, a death in our family required us to travel out of state for weeks at a time while still hunting a new home. Matt and his team put in overtime (and time during a vacation) to help us find a home while we were away.

While we dealt with that, Matt assisted, at no charge, with valuing two rental houses connected with the death in our family - invaluable assistance during a difficult time.

The 2021 home market has been a real pressure cooker, and we went through multiple possible homes before focusing on a large and complicated 40 year old house with lots of issues. Once again, Matt proved the value of an experienced Realtor by quickly lining up multiple inspections and helping negotiate the results of their reports. We reached agreement through compromise by all.

Matt and his team take the long view - the concept that outcomes fair to all result in positive long term relationships that benefit everybody.

It is said that success depends not just on what you know but also who you know. At times we all need professional assistance whether it be legal, medical, trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc), tax, financial real estate, etc. and nothing is more valuable than having trustworthy providers during times of need.

In short, if you need to buy or sell a home you won't go wrong working with Matt.
