Matt Gatewood

Matt, a proud Louisville native and graduate of the University of Louisville, began his professional career in 2003, obtaining significant experience providing strategic business solutions for several prominent corporate clients in the Louisville area, including Waystar, SVS, and Chevron.

The real estate seed had been planted at a young age, though, as he gained exposure to building, construction, management, investing, and sales through immediate and extended family businesses. That prompted Matt to acquire his real estate license soon after graduation and, after eight years in corporate business, made the leap to real estate brokerage in 2011. Building on his early success, Matt founded Gatewood Properties in 2018, where he expanded the firm to include a talented team of agents serving clients in Kentucky and Florida.

In 2024, Matt joined NAI Fortis Group to combine his corporate services and real estate transaction experience, positioning him to excel in the delivery of commercial real estate brokerage services. Known for his strong work ethic and client-focused approach, Matt consistently delivers exceptional results, earning the trust and satisfaction of his clients.
