About Matt

A graduate of Clemson University, Hendrix was a member of the 2003 Clemson Men’s Golf National
Championship Team. He also played on the 2003 United States Walker Cup Team. After college, he
spent ten years playing golf professionally. He was on the Web.com Tour for five years and spent one
year on the PGA Tour. After retiring from golf, Hendrix worked as a sales executive for various insurance
companies.
Hendrix is a native of the Upstate and currently lives in Greenville with his wife Melanie and their two
sons, Chase and Calvin. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Clemson.
