Matt is the best buyers agent living and that ever will live! Not hyperbole! Incredibly knowledgeable, patience of a saint and communication skills that are second to none! My wife and I were first time home buyers and had more questions than the S.A.T... Matt not only answered all of our many questions and concerns but he did so with a "bed side manner" that deserves to be mentioned and commended! We had a brush here and there with other agents and noticed the stark difference within minutes. Matt stayed by our side for an entire year until we found "the one". In a sea of painted on smiles you will be hard pressed to find anyone who comes close to the level of service that Matt Lunden provides.

Our recent buying experience with Matt was fantastic to say the least. We are not easy to please. His calm demeanor,experience,patience and most importantly his knowledge of coastal Delaware was unbelievable. We thought we could go at it alone but we were dead wrong. Matt Lunden was excellent to work with in purchasing our first vacation home. We have always loved the DE Beaches but live out of state so needed a little additional guidance to get started. Matt Lunden was phenomenal to work with during a very trying buyer's market in lower Delaware! He helped me and my fiance secure a condominium which will serve as our escape to the beach. Matt was always looking out for our best interests. During the course of viewing properties, he would also be using his realtor eyes to point out any potential issues. He is honest and patient. His website portal was also a great tool for us to stay on top of the new listings. As well, Matt would communicate to us any properties that were coming soon that he thought would fit our needs. I can't say enough good things about him!

Matt worked with my wife and I for a little over a year during what has been described as a very aggressive sellers market, which only made Matt work even harder. We lost out on three different offers until we got our dream home. Matt communicated with me, almost daily, showing us countless homes, and fitting us into his schedule often on the same day we found a house to go and look at. His email platform would automatically send us listings that met our criteria and he would often send us personal emails when he found something that would be coming soon. Matt is very personable and thinks outside the box to help close the deal. We also used Matt to sell our home and let me tell you, when he said that our house would go fast, he wasn't lying. Our house was active for one day, received multiple offers, and we were under contract within 24 hours. He works hard for his clients and truly is a growing businessman in Sussex County. We would HIGHLY recommend him to any of our family and friends!

Matt is an excellent realtor. He brings a calm and balanced approach to homebuying. He knows the local markets incredibly well and is able to back it up with research. While I've worked in real estate and mortgage for 12+ years, I JUST bought my first house. So I went into this situation with the terrible combination of knowing every single thing that could go wrong in the process, but completely new to purchasing my own home.

Matt was one of the best choices I could have made for purchasing my first home. He always responded in a timely manner, ran interference on a few sensitive last minute issues, and showed up consistently whenever we needed him. Mind you, I am writing this review in Summer 2021 - the craziest time for a home purchase with bidding wars, inflated home prices, and multiple offer situations running rampant - and we were using loan programs that were less attractive to sellers due to the time and documentation requirements.

Despite all of the potential challenges, Matt helped us craft an offer that got accepted on the first try. I was shocked! The first time home purchase process with an impatient, pushy, or unresponsive realtor would have been harrowing, especially in this market and I am so grateful for him!

We are happy and settling into our new home, and we have Matt Lunden to thank! Cannot recommend his services enough.

Finding a great Realtor is always difficult. As we decided to move to Delaware from another state, we actually tried 3 other realtors who were all qualified and personable but could not do the job and were less than motivated to get us what we wanted. After buying and selling at least a dozen properties over the years, we knew we needed a bright, aggressive and persistent realtor who was interested in "us" rather than a "commission" and was willing to put in "the time" to make our dreams come true. Matt Lunden filled that requirement over and over. We looked at more than 8 properties since our needs were so specific and different from most including a unique home on 3-5 acres with outbuildings and a pool. Matt amazed us with his creativity in locating properties as well as an "always there for you at a moment's notice" attitude. This included nights and weekends. This guy is driven in his desire to find the property you want and has an approach that allows him to analyze your every need and then match up the market with your budget. He even went so far as to arrange a rental for us as we moved from an out-of-state property but had not found our "dream home in Delaware" at the time. Talk about going the extra mile. Even after the closing when our attorney had left out a key detail, Matt was following up with the seller to gather the necessary documents to address this issue regarding our on-site gas tank. In summary, if your property search requires that unique agent who is different from all the rest and who can get you what you want within your budget, give Matt a call and you will not be disappointed. We were not and will use him again and again.
