Matt’s real estate background began while working at a large commercial firm when attending UNCW, eventually expanding into land development, home sales, and personal property flips. Over the last couple of years, he has been heavily involved in the local startup community. During this time he was fortunate to exit a successful research company (that he helped start from the ground up) and is now putting all of his energy back into real estate, where his business career began. Having a master's in International Business and being an executive of his own company has provided him with the experience and business tactics needed to manage and negotiate real estate transactions with the utmost confidence.
His laid back demeanor and approachability are just part of his charm. His love for architecture and historic properties began in childhood. It instilled a deep love for “old things” that are built with pride and craftsmanship. Renovating homes, especially his own 1905 historic home, has been his pride and joy.
