A true Nashvillian from the start, Matt was born and raised in Music City. He has a unique perspective on the market as he is watched it shift from a mid-size city to the booming market it is today. As a kid, Matt grew up watching his mom start her career as a real estate agent. Intrigued by it all, he remembers the excitement and comfort that his mom was able to bring to others once they found a place to call home. Now he is able to provide that same joy to clients himself.
With a degree in Marketing and a minor in Psychology from Auburn University, Matt focuses on understanding his clients and translating their needs into actionable results. As Matt explains, “The single most important thing I can do in my day-to-day job is to listen. Just listen. My number one goal every time I meet with a client is to put myself in their shoes. By listening and asking the right questions, I am able to better understand how to best serve my clients.” Aside from his focus on his clients, Matt ensures that every transaction is one built upon integrity, hard work and goodwill.
Outside of work, Matt can be found out in the woods on a camping trip, eating at any restaurant that will allow his dog, playing intramural soccer or cheering on the Vols, Titans, Preds or Nashville SC.
