About Matt

The licensed broker and co-owner of Chamberwood Realty Group, Matt Wood, holds an associate's degree from Shelby State and graduated from the police academy in 1993. He currently serves as a reserve deputy sheriff for the Shelby County Sheriff's Office for over 24 years, with an assignment to the Fugitive Squad, Patrol and Training Division. He has held the rank of Captain and Commander. Matt obtained his real estate license in 1994 and successfully passed his broker's test in 1999. He possesses real estate investing experience and has owned several rental properties throughout the years. Additionally, he has earned the ABR designation (Accredited Buyers Rep.).
