Hailing from the United Kingdom, Matthew came to Georgia from Scotland to attend Berry College on a golf scholarship in 1995. After graduation, his appreciation for the South and its beautiful weather kept him in Atlanta as he pursued a career in the golf business. It was there he found a passion for helping people, along with creating first-class and memorable experiences for his members and guests.
'As soon as I moved to Atlanta, I fell in love with the city and everything it has to offer,' said Matthew. 'In the past 19 years, I have lived in the city and in Alpharetta, Milton, and Dunwoody, and because of my experiences in many of the metro’s most desired neighborhoods, I’m capable to guide clients to find their individual characteristics within a larger community.'
Even during his time as a PGA Golf Professional, Matthew always had an interest in architecture and real estate. When the opportunity came his way to pursue a career as a REALTOR®, he jumped at the chance and hasn't looked back.
'Many years of experience in the golf industry have aided me in developing a specific skill set that allows me to support my clients while simultaneously creating an environment where they can relax and enjoy the experience in front of them. By doing this, it is my hope that I can assist my clients because I believe buying and/or selling a house should also be a joyous occasion. I am dedicated to using my expertise to manage the process for my clients, so they can concentrate on starting a new chapter in their lives.'
Matthew currently resides in Tucker, and when he is not working, enjoys family time with his wife, Kelli, and their two dogs, Arnie and Rocky. Still a passionate golfer, Matthew remains well connected with the Georgia PGA, making him an ideal partner for clients looking to land in one of Atlanta’s premier golf club communities.
