Matthew Haugen

Matthew’s mission is to provide the BEST real estate experiences through a combination of high skill, and next-level tactics governed by the guiding principles of personal authenticity, community service, and respect for the human spirit. In 2016 he founded Element Real Estate to manifest this vision and in doing so redefined what it means to be "a great agent".

As for himself, Matthew was licensed in 2006, and have spent the better part of a decade as an active real estate investor and analyst. He has an intimate understanding of the local markets and have mastered maximizing equity and creating value.

Prior to that, Matthew built an advertising-tech business in Silicon Valley which sold in 2014 for $150m. He drew from this experience and skills to provide the BEST real estate experiences to his clients. He is an advocate of high technology to increase service level and maximize efficiency but understand there is NO SUBSTITUTE for high-touch, mindful and thoughtful personal service. Matthew has lived on Coast since grade school and currently resides in El Granada with his wife and 4 children. When he is not crushing deals on behalf of my clients, you will find him surfing, spending time with his family, or actively involved as a board member of numerous local, non-profit organizations.
