About Matthew

Matthew Hickey was born and raised in Houston Texas. From an early age he had a knack for sales and took a keen interest in the personal relationships built in every transaction. In 2004, Matthew moved to Columbus, Ohio and opened several fitness centers which he personally operated until selling the business in 2014. Shortly thereafter, Matthew moved to Sarasota, Florida to enjoy life and pursue new passions; real estate being one of them. You can find Matthew enjoying time around, on and in the water these days. As an avid scuba diver, he’s as comfortable under water as on dry land. An athlete by nature you might find him competing in local races from 5k’s to Triathlons and occasionally you might even see him coming in for a landing after sky diving. “I want people to feel like I’m treating them as I would my own family,” Matthew says. “To me, the best sale is when the buyer not only feels like they received the best deal but also purchased a home, not just a house.” Inspired by greats like Dale Carnegie, Jim Rohn, Jim Collins, John C.
