Matt Vanderhoef helped our family purchase a home in the middle of a very difficult real estate market (Summer 2021). Prior to purchasing, we rented from Vanderoef Properties for two years where Matt was always available to answer questions or respond to service requests. An added benefit we enjoyed was the $1000 gift card to Amazon that they offer when you purchase a home after renting from them!

Matt is a true professional that prioritizes long term relationships. We know this because of the amount of time, effort, and dedication he provided. His knowledge of the real estate market helped us navigate an extremely difficult time to purchase. We walked over 30 homes with Matt where he gave an honest opinion on the value and potential concerns of each property. After multiple declined offers our frustration increased, Matt handled this with patience and convinced us that everything would work out. Eventually we found a home that met our needs in the neighborhood we had wanted from the beginning.

Matt continued to help us navigate the purchase process, suggesting a mortgage banker, advising on communications with the title company and ultimately participating in the closing in person. Even after the closing Matt continues to be a valuable resource providing suggestions for future updates we are planning!

Because we plan to move to other state, we wanted to sell our house, we ask Mr. Matt Vanderhoef to be our agent to help us to sell our house.

Mr. Matt gave us a lot of help:

1) Matt gave us a direction how to renew our house in order to put the house to the market.
2) Matt put our house to the market.
3) After the buyer bank appraisal, the buyer had a financial problem. Matt negotiated with buyer and us to make this problem.
4) The title company ask a question about my mortgage, Matt worked with the title company and me and make this problem.
5) We close our house successful with help of Matt.

Mr. Matt Vanderhoef did excellent job to sell our house. We are happy with Matt’s job!

Matt helped my older non english speaking parents to sell the only house they've bought and lived in for over 20 years. My parents didn't understand the laws, process, or anything for that matter in house to sell a house. Several of the agents whom my parents interviewed significantly low called my parents by telling them summer of 2021 was a buyer's market and they should set their home a very low price for many reasons.

Matt not only was very patient with my parents. But he also navigated my parents' through a very difficult buyer, after listing it on the market for less than 48 hours (they got an above asking offer signed in 48 hours of listing). The buyers apparently didn't have enough funds for the down payments which at many times seemed like the deal was going to be cancelled.

After a few concessions from all parties including the selling agent surrendering all of their commission. Matt was able to close this deal with all parties walking away extremely happy, and my parents were still able to sell the house at above asking price (even after the concession they gave.)

We don't think any other agent would've had the patient, professionalism and also out of the box thinking to execute this deal through.

As a first time homebuyer, the entire process, while exciting, can also be overwhelming and daunting process. Matt V. from Vanderhoef Properties made the whole process way easier. He was extremely knowledgeable and always available whenever I had a random question to text or call him about. Most importantly he made me feel comfortable and empowered that the decision I was making was the right one in the end. I will gladly work with him again whenever I am looking next and give Vanderhoef Properties my highest recommendation for anyone that needs an agent to work with!

Matt V. from Vanderhoef Properties was a huge help/support throughout the entire new home search/purchase process. Matt was extremely responsive day or night, and even after normal business hours for any questions that may come up. Additionally, he provided helpful insights, which were especially useful for a first time home buyer, including a clearly outlined list of trusted sources for inspection services, etc. I didn’t have to worry about “figuring it out” on my own. From the showing and scheduling of potential home tours, all the way to the end document signing at closing, Matt was a huge help and took a lot of stress off my plate. Would recommend!
