About Matthew

As a life-long resident of Oklahoma City, Matthew Vaughan has had a front row seat to the incredible growth that the metro has experienced in the last 3 decades. After earning a degree in English Literary and Cultural Studies in 2013 he began work as a high school english teacher while working for the Oklahoma City Thunder. After 4 years of teaching and 7 seasons with the Thunder, Matthew began work with The Wheeler District, a community and neighborhood development in downtown Oklahoma City that features a range of housing options for clients who want a newly constructed home that is closely connected to the urban core. During this time Matthew received a vast amount of experience and insight into the new construction industry which has translated wonderfully to Engel & Völkers. Throughout his time working in sales at Wheeler, Matthew worked with dozens of clients on the purchase and construction of their new homes. Matthew joined the Engel & Völkers team in June of 2020 as an opportunity to broaden his horizons as a Real Estate Advisor. In his time there he has successfully fused his experience and insight into the Oklahoma City real estate market with the global presence and ethos of Engel & Völkers. Every day the Matthew Vaughan Team offers the benefits of those partnerships to his growing clientele. Matthew has been married for 11 years to his beautiful wife Kaylea, who works as a home mortgage lender with Stride Mortgage in OKC. Together, they have three children.
