About Maura

Maura Bischoff joined Turnquist Partners Realtors, Inc., now known as Engel & Völkers Austin, in 2003. The company specializes in the sale of new and existing homes and, with the addition of international luxury real estate, serves a wide-ranging clientele. Maura was born in Boston and raised on the east coast. She found her niche while living in New Jersey and was employed by K Hovnanian Enterprises, Inc. – a company that designs, constructs, markets, and sells homes in planned residential developments. She transferred her expertise to the U.S. Virgin Islands and its luxury real estate market. As beautiful as the islands were, Maura found her “forever home” in Austin some 18 years ago and is still amazed by this beautiful, ever-changing city. Maura’s experience in successfully marketing pre-planned communities is the perfect backdrop for Engel & Völkers’ current project at SoMa Village, a gated community encompassing 46 freestanding and attached condominium homes in South Austin. As part of the Engel & Völkers team, Maura helped in the development of a pre-sell marketing plan and now works on site with prospective buyers to find the floor plan and location that compliments their lifestyle. Maura recognizes that home buyers and sellers are extremely busy, and that the sale or purchase of a home may be among the most important decisions of their lives. For these reasons, she strives to respond to her clients’ needs and inquiries promptly and to achieve their real estate goals. She prides herself on being a dedicated, committed agent who places the needs of the client at the forefront of any transaction. As a testament to her commitment, Maura often receives and welcomes referrals from friends and families of her clients.
